A Few Simple Rules for a Great Stay

We want every guest to feel safe, welcome, and comfortable. These rules help us maintain the high standards reflected in our 4.9-star Google rating and 108 five-star reviews. Thank you for doing your part.

General Rules

Check-in time: 12 PM.

Check-out time: 11 AM.

We encourage guests to check in during business hours so we can assist you to your site. If arriving after hours, please notify the campground before 4:30 PM by call or text.

Quiet time is from 10 PM to 9 AM.

Drug use is prohibited.

No firearms permitted on property.

No vehicle washing permitted.

Do not park vehicles on grass.

All motorized vehicles must be operational, licensed, insured, and operated by a licensed driver.

No full-time living at this campground.

No structures of any kind, including dog cages.

Mail and package deliveries are not permitted at any time.

EV charging is not permitted without prior approval and is subject to additional charge fees.

RVs older than 20 years may be subject to photo review and approval.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days before arrival: full refund.

Less than 30 days before arrival: 50% refund.

Within 48 hours of arrival: no refund.

Pet Policy

1

Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets cannot be left unattended or tied/caged up outside.

Please clean up after your pet every time.

There is a $25 fee for failure to clean up dog waste.

Excessive barking is not permitted.

Aggressive breeds are not allowed.

Any aggression shown by a pet may result in being asked to leave without a refund.

A fenced dog park is available on-site for your convenience.

Additional Policies

No state fishing license required for catch and release fishing in our onsite ponds.

A campground fishing day pass is required — see the office for your wristband and to sign the waiver.

Ponds are catch and release only.

No swimming in the onsite ponds.

Pedal Boat Rentals: Maximum of 350 lbs per boat. Georgia law requires children 12 and under to wear a life vest — jackets are provided on-site. Boats are rented by the hour.

Glamping Canvas Lodge: No smoking or vaping inside the tents. No pets permitted in glamping tents. Maximum of 2 persons per tent. Tents are solar powered with no water, electric, or sewer hookups. A public restroom is available on-site for glamping guests.

All trash must be bagged — bags are not provided. The dumpster is located near the entrance.

Do not burn plastic.

Do not leave campfires unattended.

Keep sites clean and tidy — no trash or excessive items left outside.

A $50 minimum departure clean-up fee will be charged if items or trash are left on your site at checkout.

Liability Waiver

Acknowledgment of Risk: By entering the property guests assume all risk and liability both known and unknown. Participant acknowledges that the activities and use of facilities at Scenic City RV Campground, including but not limited to camping, fishing, pedal boat rentals, and use of recreational facilities, carry inherent risks that can cause serious injury, death, and/or property damage/loss.

Waiver and Release: Participant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Scenic City RV Campground, its owners, officers, agents, employees, and volunteers (collectively, "Releasees") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained by Participant or to any property belonging to Participant. Whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, while participating in Park activities, or while in, on or upon the premises where the activities are being conducted. Be aware of hazards, wildlife, and notify staff immediately. Enter at your own risk. See office for full list.
